Guarantee and repairs
Faulty or incomplete delivered products
Inspect your product closely when it has been delivered. If the product is faulty or incomplete at the moment of arrival, notify us before using it, and as soon as possible (no more than 14 days after receiving it). We will then send you the missing part free of charge, or, in case of a defect, exchange it free of charge.
Legal guarantee
On all of our products, we offer the legal guarantee concerning manufacturing defects with normal use. This means that you should be able to use the products without any issues during their expected lifetime. The minimum lifetime for our products, as determined by us, is 2 years, excepting very intensive use.
Guarantee after 2 years
In some cases, the guarantee concerning manufacturing defects may still apply after 2 years. If you feel as though that may apply to your circumstances, please contact us to discuss the possibilities, either via e-mail ([email protected]) or phone (+31(0)793208897).
What is not covered by the guarantee
If a product isn’t up to reasonable standards due to a manufacturing defect, you are eligible for a reimbursement based on the guarantee. The warranty does not cover the following matters:
- Normal wear and tear of the product;
- Damage resulting from impact;
- Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, or neglect;
- Damage resulting from the incorrect montage or setup of the bindings;
- Damage caused by ski lifts;
- Damage resulting from regular use;
- Damage resulting from alterations or repairs to the product;
- Damage resulting from matters unrelated to materials or production;
- Damage caused by lubricants or adhesives;
- Damage resulting from the transportation or storage of the product;
- Defects or damage caused by improper use of the product or inadequate maintenance;
- Damage resulting from failure to follow instructions as specified in user’s manuals;
- Damage resulting from alterations or repairs to the product;
- Damage caused by sharp objects, turning anything too far, compression, falling, abnormal use or any other incorrect conduct.
Filing a guarantee claim
To prevent further damage, it is best to notify us of any defects as quickly as possible. You can do so by filling out the accompanying return form. Duijvestein Winterstore should always be your first point of contact when filing a guarantee claim. Only clean and/or washed items can be processed.
Guarantee on B-Choice, outlet and demo products
The normal guarantee applies to “B choice”(factory seconds) and outlet products. No other rules or exceptions apply, unless stated otherwise. (Pre-used) demo products may be covered by a limited guarantee. If that is the case, it will be mentioned on the product information page.
