The Van Deer Freeride 98 is an all-mountain ski designed for versatile performance. This ski, a favorite of Marcel Hirscher, excels both on groomed slopes and in deep powder. With a width of 98 mm underfoot, it offers maximum versatility: it floats in powder, grips well on hard snow, is highly maneuverable between trees, and remains stable at high speed.

Featuring a good amount of tip and tail rocker, the Freeride 98 provides a surf-like feel on snowy days. The ski is built on the same construction as its wider brother, the Freeride 108, and includes a poplar wood core, dual Titanal and carbon reinforcements, full ABS sidewalls, race edges, and a P-Tex race base. Marcel Hirscher's unique Race Room finish and a few other secrets make this the perfect ski for both on-piste, just off the poles, and for truly deep off-piste days.
